Whisky is a category steeped in heritage and outdated perceptions. Diageo set out to change this narrative with Malts.com: a digital-first brand experience that could open the world of whisky to new and more diverse audiences. The goal? Demystify the category, break down the barriers, and make single malt whisky something anyone could enjoy.

As Creative Director, I led the team on a mission to breathe new life into the category and replace snobbery with discovery, joy and storytelling.

Defining a Strong Personality

I determined the creative vision for a content style that’s conversational, inclusive, and full of personality; speaking to curious newcomers without alienating connoisseurs.
